20th March 2024 | Clinical studies investigating the use of probiotics for SIBO have yielded mixed results. Some have reported improvements in SIBO symptoms while others have found no significant benefits.
It seems likely therefore that the effectiveness of probiotics for SIBO may depend on various factors, such as the specific probiotic strain(s) used, the dosage, the duration of treatment, and the individual's gut microbiota composition and overall health status.
