An impaired prostate gland may be a sign of a metabolic imbalance that goes unnoticed until hallmark symptoms, such as frequent or difficult urination and decreased sexual function begin to manifest. The primary job of the prostate gland is to create and secrete seminal fluid critical to the health and motility of sperm. The prostate needs to maintain consistent moisture or the transport of seminal fluid is compromised and inflammation, including benign prostatic hypertrophy (enlarged prostate gland), may occur.

Our formulation is a balance of nutrients found in seminal fluid including zinc, glycine, alanine, glutamic acid and lycopene. Plant sterols from pumpkin seeds, Saw Palmetto, Nettle and pygeum, extracted from the bark of the African Prunus tree all support prostate health and have been used as vital remedies in the pharmacopoeia of indigenous cultures.

Testosterone is the principal hormone to trigger libido. Components in the nettle plant help restore the sex hormone testosterone to its free state by binding to the sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG) which is often elevated in men as they age. DIM, a plant sterol used in our formulation, also increases levels of free testosterone by helping limit testosterone conversion to the damaging estrogen metabolite estradiol which contributes to unwarranted tissue growth in the prostate and swelling.
